Description
Forget lugging a heavy backline just to get your modeled or pedal-crafted tone onstage. The PowerStage 700 is a purpose-built power amp for players who’ve already dialed in their sound through a modeler, effects processor, or pedalboard and just need clean, honest amplification to push it out to a cab or the PA.
- Stereo ins and outs let you carry your full stereo rig without losing detail or width
- True Cab Circuitry (TCC) on the XLR outs sends a speaker-simulated signal to front of house while you still monitor through a cabinet onstage
- Musically voiced 3-band EQ gives you real-time tone shaping at the end of your chain, no patch-diving required
- Runs on universal 100V-240V power and matches any cabinet impedance worldwide
- Doubles as a studio tool: plug pedals into the XLR outs and track direct into your DAW with speaker simulation, no mic needed
It also solves a classic problem for pedal players: run a distortion pedal into the PowerStage, then bypass it, and you’ve instantly got a two-channel setup — dirty and clean — from a single power amp. In stereo mode, send one channel through your board and the other completely dry for reamping or layered recording.
Under the hood: 0-47 dB of level control, treble and bass at ±13 dB, mid at ±13 dB, and 350W at 8 ohms or 700W at 4 ohms of clean, transparent output. At just 11.5″ x 2.2″ x 6.9″ and 6.3 lbs, it’s built to travel — designed and assembled at Seymour Duncan’s Santa Barbara factory by the same team behind their pickups.
Whether you’re chasing modeled amp tones or building your dream pedal rig, the PowerStage 700 is the missing link that makes your tone louder without changing what it sounds like.
