The Acus One For Strings 5T is a small-footprint acoustic combo designed around clarity rather than colouration – ideal for singer-songwriters and duo gigs where a true, uncoloured voice matters more than sheer volume. At 50W RMS through a 2-way biamped setup (40W to the 5″ woofer, 10W to the compression tweeter), it offers enough headroom for coffee houses, small venues and rehearsal spaces without the amp adding its own character to your instrument.
Two independent inputs – a Mic-Line and a Line – give you flexibility for combining a guitar pickup with a vocal mic, each with its own Gain/Volume control. A 3-band EQ shapes your tone, while the Effect Send lets you route external effects into the signal path, and a dedicated AUX input with independent volume means you can play backing tracks from an mp3 player or iPod alongside your live signal. An electronically balanced direct output makes feeding a mixing desk or recording interface straightforward.
The Italian-made speakers are engineered to track dynamic changes faithfully, housed in a handmade natural wood cabinet – birch ply with a protective polyester top coat – sized to match the power output for an honest, uncompressed sound. A protective metal grille and integrated carry handles round out a cabinet that’s as practical to transport as it is easy to look at.
