Description
The Randall Diavlo RD45H packs a 12AX7/6L6 tube complement into a 45-watt head that’s rated at just 1% distortion at full output — meaning you get honest headroom before the amp starts breaking up on its own terms. That makes it a flexible choice for small-to-mid sized stages and rehearsal rooms where you want to drive the power section without instantly maxing out the gain.
Two channels plus a dedicated Tube Boost mode give you a clean-to-crunch range, then a push into higher-gain territory for leads or heavier sections, all switchable via the included 2-function footswitch (RF2T2C) so you’re not reaching for the amp mid-set.
A Class A discrete instrument-level FX loop keeps your time-based and modulation effects sitting cleanly in the signal path rather than fighting the preamp’s gain structure. For direct recording or silent stage setups, the built-in speaker-emulated XLR output with ground lift lets you send a usable signal straight to a desk or interface without a mic’d cabinet.
