Description
The 6505+ 112 Combo takes the amp that defined modern metal tone and puts it in a self-contained rig anchored by a single 12″ Sheffield speaker. Under the hood you get five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6GC power tubes pushing out 60 watts RMS, with a switchable 16/8/4 ohm output stage for flexibility with external cabs.
Each channel — lead and rhythm — gets its own 3-band EQ plus independent Resonance and Presence controls, so you can dial in a tight, aggressive rhythm tone and a soaring, saturated lead voice without compromise. The rhythm channel adds pre-/post-gain staging with a footswitchable Crunch boost, while the lead channel offers its own pre-/post-gain shaping for stacking gain on demand. A footswitchable lead/rhythm select and an effects loop round out the practical side of live use.
Genuine Accutronics 3-spring reverb adds natural depth and ambiance, and the built-in MSDI (Microphone Simulated Direct Interface) lets you send a mic-simulated signal straight to a mixer or interface via XLR — handy for silent recording or quick front-of-house hookups without a separate mic.
