Peavey’s 112-6 pairs one Celestion Greenback 25 with a solidly built 18mm plywood enclosure, giving you the vintage-voiced breakup and midrange push that Greenbacks are known for, without needing to run out and source a speaker separately.
What sets this cab apart is the convertible back panel. Flip it to closed-back for tighter low end, more projection, and a punchier feel on stage, or open it up for a looser, airier response with more natural speaker bleed — useful for recording or smaller rooms where you want the cab to breathe. At 25 watts of handling, it’s matched for pairing with lower-to-moderate wattage heads where you want the speaker itself contributing to the overdrive character, not just handling clean headroom.
Cosmetically it’s classic Peavey: black tolex, black grille cloth, and a white piping trim line that dresses it up without looking flashy. Metal corners and rubber feet protect it on the road, and top-mounted handles make it manageable to haul in and out of vans and venues on your own.
