Description
Fender’s Hot Rod lineup has powered stages big and small for years, and the Deville 212 III carries that reputation forward with real 6L6 headroom and a full-bodied 2×12 speaker layout inherited from the Twin Reverb lineage. Loaded with three all-12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of 6L6 power tubes, it moves smoothly from glassy clean tones to warm, saturated breakup as you push the volume.
- 60 watts of all-tube power for gigging at club and mid-size venue levels
- Dual 12″ Celestion G12P-80 speakers for a wide, full low end
- Three footswitchable channels: Normal, Drive, and More Drive
- Built-in effects loop for slotting in your favorite pedals post-preamp
- Lush Fender spring reverb and a bright switch for extra sparkle
- Internal variable bias control and solid-state rectifier
- 4-ohm external speaker output to add a second cabinet for more stage coverage
This III revision refines the original formula with a cleaner black control panel that’s easier to read from the stage, a redesigned badge, a simplified two-button footswitch, and graduated volume and treble pot tapers for smoother sweep control. The cabinet is built from 7-ply birch/maple plywood, wrapped in black textured vinyl with silver grille cloth, and finished with a molded rubber dog-bone handle for load-in and load-out. A fitted cover and the two-button footswitch come included, so you’re set up to plug in and play from the first gig.
Whether you’re running pedals into the effects loop or relying on the amp’s own drive channels, the Deville 212 III delivers that unmistakable Fender voice — chiming cleans, rich overdrive, and reverb that fills a room.
