Description
The Fender Champion 20 is built for players who want tonal range without complexity. At its core sits a single 8″ Special Design speaker driven by a 20-watt solid state amp, giving you enough clean headroom for practicing and casual jamming while still breaking up nicely when you push it into overdrive territory.
What sets the Champion 20 apart is its selectable amp voicing on a single channel. Instead of being locked into one flavor of clean or crunch, you can move between Fender’s signature clean and overdrive character and a range of British-inspired and modern distortion tones—useful whether you’re chasing jazzy cleans, blues grit, country twang, or heavier metal crunch. Pair that with onboard reverb, delay/echo, chorus, tremolo, and Vibratone effects, and a TAP button lets you dial delay time or tremolo speed to match your playing tempo without fumbling through menus.
Practical touches round it out: an 1/8″ stereo aux input lets you plug in a media player and jam along, while the 1/8″ stereo headphone jack makes silent practice possible at any hour. Cosmetically, it wears classic Blackface-era styling—black angled control panel, vintage-style skirted knobs, silver grille cloth, and black “Bronco” vinyl covering.
