Description
Acoustic guitarists need amplification that stays honest to their instrument’s natural voice while still cutting through a mix — the Acoustasonic 90 was engineered around that exact demand. Fender paired an 8″ cloth-surround woofer with a dedicated high-frequency tweeter to spread frequencies evenly, so your low-end body and shimmering highs both come through clearly at 90 watts of solid-state power. At just 18 lbs, it’s genuinely easy to haul to a gig or a living-room show, yet the 5-ply hardwood cabinet keeps the build sturdy.
Two independent channels give you flexibility on stage: run your guitar into the 1/4″ input with its own treble, mid, bass, volume, and effects controls, while a vocalist or second source plugs into the combination XLR/1/4″ mic channel with matching EQ and effects. Each channel includes built-in effects — reverb, echo/delay, chorus, Vibratone, and others — voiced specifically for acoustic tone. A smart feedback-elimination circuit with its own on/off switch per channel helps tame the squeal that plagues acoustic-electric setups at higher volumes.
Additional practical touches include an auxiliary input for backing tracks or a media player and a balanced XLR line out with ground lift for connecting straight to a house PA. Finished in classic brown textured vinyl with black grille cloth and chrome hardware, it wears Fender’s heritage look. An optional two-button footswitch (P/N: 0064673000) is available separately for hands-free effects switching.
