Description
Designed for players who need more than a bedroom practice amp but less than a full PA rig, the Acoustasonic 15 pairs a 6-inch full-range speaker with a solid-state chassis tuned for the natural voice of acoustic-electric guitars. The whizzer cone on that speaker helps push high-frequency detail through, so strumming and fingerpicking retain their sparkle instead of getting muddy at low wattage.
With 15 watts on tap, this isn’t a stage-filling amp, but for coffee shops, living rooms, small venues, or as a monitor on a bigger stage, it covers the ground admirably. Two independent channels — a 1/4″ instrument input and an XLR mic input — each get their own volume control, letting you balance guitar and vocal without one drowning out the other.
Tone shaping is straightforward on both channels: Bass, Middle, and Treble controls let you dial in the character of your instrument or voice. The instrument channel adds a built-in Chorus effect with its own level knob and on/off switch, useful for adding shimmer to acoustic tones without an external pedal.
Practical touches round out the package — a 1/4″ headphone jack for silent practice, and Fender’s classic look with brown textured vinyl covering, black grille cloth, and chrome hardware.
