Description
The ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb takes Fender’s beloved silverface design and tunes it for today’s player. Its modified tone circuit and reduced negative feedback mean overdrive kicks in sooner and pedals sit more comfortably in front of it, without losing the touch-responsive dynamics guitarists expect from a real Fender tube amp.
At 12 watts through a single 10″ Celestion TEN 30, this combo stays small and light enough for bedroom-to-club duty, yet delivers surprising headroom before it breaks up—perfect for recording sessions where mic’d-up low wattage still means big tone. The Celestion speaker leans the voicing slightly rockier than a stock vintage Princeton, giving it its own character alongside the familiar chime.
Everything under the hood is built the old way: hand-wired tube sockets, custom Schumacher transformers modeled on the originals, and genuine Fender tube-driven spring reverb and vibrato (tremolo) circuits—no digital shortcuts.
