Description
The ’65 Super Reverb has long been a favorite of Strat players chasing that glassy, chiming Blackface sound, though its appeal reaches well beyond one genre. This Vintage Reissue captures the character of the original 1963-1968 amps, pairing genuine tube warmth with enough clean headroom to stay articulate at volume — ideal for unmiked club gigs or filling a concert stage.
At the heart of the amp is a 45-watt tube circuit built around a 5AR4 tube rectifier, four Groove Tubes 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 12AT7s, and a pair of 6L6 power tubes. Two footswitchable channels — Normal and Vibrato — each offer independent Bright, Volume, Treble, and Bass controls, with the Vibrato channel adding Middle, Reverb, Speed, and Intensity for the amp’s signature tube-driven spring reverb and vibrato effects.
Four 10″ Jensen P10R Alnico speakers (2-ohm impedance) push air through a Baltic Birch plywood cabinet, finished in the classic black textured vinyl with silver grille cloth and Blackface-style front panel. Vintage-style skirted black knobs, a molded plastic handle with nickel-plated caps, and a red pilot jewel complete the period-correct look.
