Inside, a 12AY7 pairs with dual 12AX7 preamp tubes ahead of a matched set of 6L6 power tubes and a 5AR4 rectifier, the same recipe collectors chase for its dynamic touch response. A presence control lets you tune in upper-harmonic sizzle without losing warmth, while interactive bass and treble knobs give the tone stack real range – from woody, rounded mids to airy top end. Newly sourced yellow coupling capacitors were selected specifically to preserve that authentic vintage character, smooth on top but with plenty of grit underneath.
Driving the sound is a single 15-inch, 8-ohm Eminence Special Design speaker fed by 26 watts of tube power, enough headroom for rehearsal rooms and small-to-mid stages before the speaker starts singing with medium breakup. The cabinet wears the amp’s heritage proudly: golden tweed covering, chickenhead knobs, a top-mounted control panel, and a leather carry handle. Dual 1/4-inch inputs handle both hot and passive pickups equally well.
