Plug in a guitar, bass, or mic and you’ve got a self-contained rig with real amp voicing, studio-grade effects, and a 2.1 speaker system loud enough to fill a rehearsal room on its own — 12W total, split across dual stereo speakers plus a dedicated woofer for genuine low-end punch.
Under the hood sits a custom DSP chip delivering the same COSM amp modeling and effects quality found in BOSS’s flagship GT-100, covering everything from amp and drive tones to modulation, delay, reverb, and wah. With 130 preset patches and 100 user slots, there’s plenty of room to build your own tone stack for any style you’re chasing.
Two independent input channels — each with its own effects path — let two performers plug in at once, whether that’s guitar-and-vocal, bass-and-guitar, or a teacher/student pairing trading licks over the same backing track. Load up any of the 350+ onboard audio loops and 50 included songs, or bring in your own MP3/WAV files via USB or SD card (1GB–32GB supported). Center Cancel strips the lead instrument for minus-one play-along sessions, and the tempo/key-shift tools let you slow down tricky passages or drop the key to match your vocal range without degrading audio quality.
You can also record your own performances directly to the unit, complete with effects and backing tracks, then play them back through the built-in LCD-equipped interface.
