Description
Skip the soldering marathon. This Bartolini HR-2.4AP/918 harness arrives fully wired and ready to drop into your instrument, pairing Bartolini’s respected preamp circuitry with audio-grade potentiometers built to handle years of stage and studio use without going scratchy or loose.
At the heart of the harness sits a 3-band EQ built around a classic Treble/Bass stack plus an independent Mid control, giving you real separation between low-end weight, upper-end sparkle, and the midrange character that defines your instrument’s voice. The Mid control itself is switchable between two frequency points via push-pull, so you can dial in a tighter, more scooped voicing or a fuller, more vocal midrange depending on the song.
Control layout is straightforward: one hole houses the Volume knob, which doubles as an Active/Passive selector through its push-pull switch — instant access to a passive tone if your preamp battery dies mid-gig or you just want that unshaped, straight-to-amp response. The remaining two holes carry the Treble/Bass stack and the switchable Mid.
Included with the harness:
- Second battery clip for optional 18V operation (extra headroom for hotter output)
- Wiring instructions for a clean install
- Black ring and center knobs for the tone stack
Whether you’re upgrading a stock preamp or building a control cavity from scratch, this harness gets your instrument EQ-ready fast, with the tonal flexibility to shape everything from a scooped slap tone to a fuller, amp-friendly voicing.
