Description
The Bassbreaker 15 head packs a punch well beyond its 15-watt rating, thanks to two EL84 power tubes feeding an aggressive midrange voice that cuts through a mix without overwhelming a room. Three 12AX7 preamp tubes drive the front end, and a three-position Gain Structure switch lets you dial in everything from clean sparkle to snarling overdrive, all while staying responsive to your playing dynamics and guitar’s natural character.
This isn’t just a stage amp – it’s built for recording too. A switchable speaker-emulated XLR output with ground lift means you can go straight into an interface or mixing board, and the Power Amp Mute lets you silently record the preamp tone. A built-in digital hall reverb adds adjustable depth and ambience without needing extra pedals.
Cosmetically, the Bassbreaker line breaks from vintage blackface norms with dark gray lacquered tweed covering, a black grille cloth, oversized pointer knobs, and the classic Fender block logo – a fresh look that still feels at home on any pedalboard-heavy rig.
