Description
Before the Hot Rod Deluxe took over as the go-to modern Fender combo, this was the amp that started it all. The Blues Deluxe Reissue revives Fender’s original 1993 Tweed-series formula: take the spirit of a coveted ’50s Deluxe or Bassman, then add a second channel and onboard reverb for stage-ready flexibility. Players chasing that specific early-’90s Fender voice — a touch grittier and rawer than its successor — keep coming back to this version for good reason.
Under the hood, two 6L6 output tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes push 40 watts through a single 12″ Special Design Eminence speaker, giving you enough clean headroom for small-to-mid-size rooms before the Drive channel breaks into its signature blues-rock growl. The Normal channel (with its own Bright switch) handles sparkling cleans, while the Drive channel adds independent Gain and Master controls for dialing in overdrive without losing volume balance between the two.
Fender’s spring reverb and an effects loop round out the practical side, while the tweed covering, chrome control panel, and chicken-head knobs keep the look every bit as classic as the tone.
