Description
Fender’s Blues Junior has long been a go-to for players chasing warm, all-tube breakup at practice and small-stage volumes, and the LTD version dresses that circuit in true vintage garb. Lacquered tweed covering, a pinstripe grille, chrome control panel, and chunky pointer knobs give it the look of a classic-era amp, while a 12″ Jensen C-12N ceramic-magnet speaker delivers the tone to match.
Under the hood you get a single-channel, all-tube signal path built around two EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, producing 15 watts through an 8-ohm output. That wattage is plenty for bedroom and studio use, and with the preamp tubes pushed it breaks up into rich, singing overdrive well before you’re at ear-splitting levels — ideal for smaller rooms and recording. A FAT switch fattens the midrange for a thicker lead tone, and built-in spring reverb adds Fender’s signature ambience.
Controls are kept simple and musical: Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb, Master, plus the Fat switch, all easy to dial in whether you’re after clean Fender sparkle or grittier tube saturation.
