The Bassbreaker 30R takes the aggressive character of the Bassbreaker 15 and expands it into a genuinely gig-ready platform. Rather than relying on a single gain structure, this combo gives you two independently voiced channels, so your clean tone and your crunch tone each get dedicated shaping rather than a shared compromise. A built-in effects loop sits between the preamp and power section, giving time-based and modulation effects room to breathe without muddying your gain stage.
Under the hood, four EL84 power tubes team up with three 12AX7 preamp tubes to deliver 30 watts of push – enough headroom for small-to-mid venues and studio work, with plenty of midrange bite once you push into overdrive. Pick attack translates directly into dynamics here, whether you’re riding clean sparkle or diving into thick, saturated distortion. A two-button footswitch is included for hands-free channel switching and engaging additional drive on the fly.
This Limited Edition FSR variant swaps the standard speaker for a Celestion G12H30, paired with distinct cosmetic touches that set it apart from the standard Bassbreaker 30R:
