The ’65 Super Reverb reissue resurrects the tone that defined the Blackface era from 1963-1968, when Fender built one of the most beloved club and stage amps in guitar history. This unit is a demo model, gently used, giving you that same vintage voicing at a friendlier price point.
Whether you’re chasing that glassy, chiming clean tone Strat players love or need an amp with enough headroom to stay articulate at volume, the Super Reverb’s 45 watts pushed through four 10″ Jensen P10R Alnico speakers deliver a big, shimmering wall of sound. It’s equally at home in an unmiked club gig or filling a concert stage through the PA.
Two footswitchable channels – Normal and Vibrato – give you flexibility, with the Vibrato channel adding tube-driven spring reverb and true tube vibrato controlled via the included 2-button footswitch. Each channel gets its own Bright switch, Volume, Treble, and Bass, while the Vibrato channel adds a Middle control plus Speed and Intensity knobs for the vibrato circuit.
Under the hood, Groove Tubes power the amp: four 12AX7 and two 12AT7 preamp tubes alongside a pair of 6L6 power tubes, with a 5AR4 tube rectifier rounding things out. The whole thing lives in a road-worthy 7-ply Baltic birch cabinet finished with black textured vinyl and silver grille cloth, topped off with the classic Blackface-style front panel and skirted knobs.
