Description
The LoudBox Artist takes everything players loved about the acclaimed LoudBox 100 and pushes it further—more power, more flexibility, all in a cabinet you can still carry with one hand. This is a workhorse for acoustic players who perform regularly and need pristine, uncolored volume rather than a “voiced” tone stack that fights their instrument’s natural sound.
Two combo mic/instrument channels take 1/4″ or XLR inputs and each get their own 3-band EQ plus Fishman’s notch filter and phase switch, the two-punch combo that lets you push stage volume without triggering feedback howl. Phantom power on board means condenser mics are covered too. A dual digital effects engine adds reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, echo, and slap echo, with independent level control per channel so a vocal mic and an instrument input don’t have to share the same wash of ambience.
Under the hood, 120 watts drive an 8″ woofer and 1″ soft dome tweeter in a bi-amped configuration, reaching 112dB SPL at one meter—plenty for coffeehouse gigs up through small-to-mid venues. The cabinet’s built-in 10-degree tilt back throws sound toward your ears on stage, not just out into the room.
