At 20 watts from a pair of EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, it delivers plenty of usable headroom for small clubs, studio sessions, or backline duty—loud enough to break up beautifully without burying a room.
Channel 1 is the amp’s clear, articulate voice: bright without turning brittle, with a mid-range that stays complex and touch-responsive as you dig in. Channel 2 shares that same harmonic chime but pushes into thick, saturated overdrive while holding onto the string-to-string clarity Bad Cat is known for—so chords stay defined even under heavy gain.
Each channel gets its own gain and volume, while shared bass, treble, and cut controls shape the overall voice. Built-in studio-quality reverb and bias-modulated tremolo add depth and movement, and both channel switching and tremolo are footswitchable for hands-free control on stage.
