Description
The EVH 5150III combo gives you Eddie’s signature clean, crunch, and lead voicings in one birch-cabinet package, driven by seven JJ ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and two JJ 6L6 power tubes into a 16-ohm Celestion speaker. Front-panel power scaling lets you dial output anywhere from a full 50 watts down to just 1 watt, so you can chase real tube saturation at bar-gig volume or keep the same feel late at night without waking the house.
Each channel gets its own gain, low, mid, high, and volume control, plus shared master presence and power-level knobs on the front panel. Flip to the rear and you’ll find master resonance for tightening or opening up the low end, built-in DSP reverb, an effects loop, MIDI input, a preamp output, dual parallel speaker outs, and a headphone jack that mutes the power amp for silent practice. Switch between all three channels and reverb on the fly with the included four-button footswitch.
Chicken-head control knobs, a red jewel indicator, a plastic top strap handle, and casters round out the road-ready construction, with a fitted cover available separately.
