Description
Few amps define “clean” the way the ’65 Twin Reverb does. This vintage reissue delivers the same blackface-era voicing that’s anchored rock, country, jazz, and funk stages for decades – and it still shrugs off a fuzz pedal or a cranked pickup with grace rather than breakup. If you need headroom for a loud stage or a big room, this is the reference point.
Under the hood, four 6L6 Groove Tubes output tubes and four 12AX7 plus two 12AT7 preamp tubes push 85 watts at 4 ohms through a pair of 12″ Jensen C-12K ceramic speakers. That’s serious power for keeping notes articulate at volume, whether you’re mic’d in a studio or filling a club without a PA assist. A solid-state rectifier keeps the low end tight and the amp reliable night after night.
Two channels – Normal and Vibrato – give you a bright switch, volume, treble, middle, and bass on each side, with the Vibrato channel adding built-in Fender reverb and a speed/intensity vibrato circuit. The included two-button footswitch lets you flip reverb and vibrato on and off from your feet mid-song.
Housed in a 7-ply birch plywood cabinet with black textured vinyl, silver grille cloth, tilt-back legs, and the classic blackface control panel, it looks as authentic as it sounds. A red pilot jewel and molded strap handle round out the vintage-correct details.
