The CELESTION Cream takes the alnico voicing guitarists love and gives it the muscle to handle modern stage volumes. Built using manufacturing advances first developed for the Creamback range, it pushes power handling up to 90 watts without losing the softer, rounded attack that defines a great alnico driver.
Tonally, the Cream leans into a relaxed, musical breakup rather than an aggressive bark. Low end stays warm and full, while the midrange is smooth and organic, carrying enough fine detail to make single-note runs and vocal-range frequencies feel articulate and present. Up top, it finishes with a bright, bell-like chime instead of harsh fizz.
Because it’s rated for such a wide power range, the Cream suits amps from tiny 1-watt practice heads through to 90-watt stage monsters, so you get that alnico character and touch-sensitivity whether you’re recording at bedroom levels or filling a venue with headroom to spare.
