Built to extend the voice of the Bad Cat Black Cat Head or stand alongside the Black Cat Combo, this open-back 1×12 cabinet punches well above its mid-size footprint. Inside sits a proprietary Celestion Bad Cat driver, an undoped 60-watt 12″ speaker at 8 ohms, engineered to render everything from glassy cleans to thick, saturated crunch with real clarity and touch sensitivity.
Craftsmanship is where Bad Cat separates itself. The cabinet and speaker baffle are constructed from finger-joined 11-ply Baltic Birch for a rigid, resonant enclosure, then wrapped in elegant Taurus vinyl with gold piping and a matching gold grille cloth. Internally, heavy gauge speaker wire and hand-soldered jacks and speaker connections ensure the signal path is as reliable as it is musical. A heavy-duty, hand-stitched leather handle rounds out the build for confident transport.
Open-back construction gives the cabinet an airy, three-dimensional character with generous bass response and headroom to spare, so it fills a room without losing definition at volume.
