Description
Built around EVH’s own amp designs, the 5150III Combo delivers clean, crunch, and lead channels driven by seven JJ ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and two JJ 6L6 power tubes. A front-panel power scaling control lets you drop output from a full 50 watts all the way down to 1 watt, so you can chase that saturated tube breakup at bedroom-friendly volumes or open it up for gigs. Two Celestion G12M 8-ohm speakers push the sound through a custom-shaped 7-ply birch cabinet with internal baffling tuned for this configuration.

The cabinet is finished with vintage-style chicken-head knobs, a red pilot jewel, recessed metal side handles, a molded plastic top handle, and pop-out casters for easy transport of this 84 lb combo. Wired for 120V operation, it’s ready to serve as the centerpiece of a serious tube rig – from practice room to full band rehearsal to stage.
